Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds
Minutes of the December 12, 2013 Meeting
Present: Raymond Vaillancout, William P. Goreham, Thaddeus Buczko and Sumner Jones
The meeting was called to order at 5:30PM in the Mayor’s Office, City Hall.
The Brookhouse Home for Women submitted a request for reimbursement for over the counter medication for residents. The receipts totaled $2,227.46. This is part of their FY2014 Large Grant. Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the request from the Endicott Fund. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
Raymond Vaillancourt made a motion to approve the minutes of the November 14, 2013 meeting. The motion was seconded by Sumner Jones and voted unanimously.
We are waiting for a conformation from the Eastern Bank for their biannual presentation of current funds and trends for FY2014.
A motion was made by Raymond Vallancourt to approve a request from the Cemetery Commission to pay Ravenswood Tree and Landscape, $1,735.00 for services completed at the Old Burying Point Cemetery. The payment will be made from the Peele Fund. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
Thaddeus Buczko made a motion to pay a request from Genghis Salem for $107.50 for food for the Read Picnic. The motion was seconded by William P. Goreham and voted unanimously.
A request was received from the Council on Aging for medication expense reimbursement for $94.39 to be dispersed from the Endicott Fund. The motion was seconded by Sumner Jones and voted unanimously.
The Salem Theatre Company sent a thank you note to the Board for the FY14 Large Grant.
A thank you note was also received from a student in appreciation of their scholarship award.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 5:50PM.
